Approved Maintenance Organization
CanWest Air holds a Transport Canada AMO, rated for non-specialized work and sheet metal structures on the Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 series, Cessna Grand Caravan C208B, and Cessna 206 series.
Accompanying the TC AMO, CanWest Air also holds an approval for maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations on FAA commercial aircraft operated under FAR 121 and 135.
Maintenance Efficiency
CanWest Air's Maintenance staff take great pride in being efficient and safe. Experienced and well trained AME's, all the right tools for the job, a significant spares inventory, and excellent working relationship with other Specialized Maintenance AMO's, Suppliers and Textron for support make our team one of the most effective around.
Textron Approved Modification Center
CanWest Air purchased a fleet of 9 new King Air's in 2017. These new aircraft were delivered in executive configurations. Working closely with AHS, CanWest Air custom designed, then obtained Engineering Approvals for the specialized interior required for EMS services. Each CanWest Air medevac aircraft started service with at least 21 engineering approved modifications, with more added as the fleet went to work! This captured Textron's attention, with CanWest Air becoming a designated finishing center for Textron's Special Missions department, completing custom Air Ambulance's on Textron's behalf.
Raisbeck Dealer
CanWest Air has close ties with Raisbeck Engineering. Our AMO is experienced in efficiently installing a variety of Raisbeck products on the King Air fleet, including Dual Aft Body Strakes, Composite 5-Blade Props, Enhanced Performance Leading Edges, Crown Wing lockers, and High Floatation Enclosed gear doors.
