Kevin joined Nor-Alta Aviation in 2009 as Director of Maintenance, and brings to the team over 20 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, specializing in medevacs for most of his career. Since his arrival, Kevin has worked to substantially improve maintenance programs, bringing them to an even higher standard of safety and efficiency. Kevin has held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Operations Manager since 2018.

Mike began his career with Nor-Alta Aviation shortly after completing his commercial pilot’s license in 2010. As a pilot, Mike exerted a high level of professionalism and overall work ethic. This combined with his desire to further his career allowed him to move from the Cessna 206 up to Captain of the King Air 250. In 2018, Mike was promoted to Chief Pilot.

Gagandeep Ghuman

Deep began his journey with CanWest Air in March 2018 as a First Officer on the King Air 250. After transitioning to the Caravan just six months later, he was given the opportunity to step into the role of Training Captain. He later returned to the King Air 250 as Captain and, in 2021, moved on to Captain the King Air 350. Throughout his time with CanWest Air, Deep has had the privilege to train on all three aircraft types and contribute to various departments, landing in the role of Assistant Chief Pilot in 2024

Adam Kent

Northern Operations Coordinator

 Adam first joined CanWest Air in 2015 on a summer fuel contract, and has since operated each type of aircraft in the fleet in both a line pilot and training pilot capacity. Adam's diverse flight experience of over 4,500 flight hours paired with his BA in Psychology adds a unique contribution to the team as we pursue ever increasing efficiencies and best practices. Adam has held the role of Northern Operations Coordinator since 2021.

Craig has been with CanWest Air since 2012 and displays many talents recognizable to further enhancing the maintenance program. He provides knowledge, personal drive and pursuit for perfection that made him a great candidate for the Maintenance Manager position in 2020, moving into the Person Responsible for Maintenance role in 2023.

Joni Schaub

Joni joined the Nor-Alta team in 2009, working diligently to implement and upgrade processes to oversee proper tracking of parts through the use of AerochexPT. Bringing an unparalleled attention to detail, Joni oversees the significant on-hand parts inventory, as well as the technical records department.

Leanne McAmmond

QMS Manager

Leanne began her career with Nor-Alta Aviation in 2010 as a base engineer at the Fort McMurray location. Leanne moved into a role conducting internal audits and quality checks in late 2017. She took on the role of Quality Assurance Manager in 2017, which expanded to include the Safety Management System, creating an integrated QMS program.

Lauren Williams

Lauren's passion for safety programming and her management background made her a valuable addition when she joined as a King First Officer in 2022. She quickly became a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee as an Employee Base Representative, then assumed the role of Occupational Health and Safety Manager in 2024. Her dedication to safety has helped to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all CanWest Air employees
